Into John Olsen's 'Edge of the Void'

Behold John Olsen’s ‘Edge of the Void’, a suite of six original highly-collectible etchings. Dated 1975, these works are represented at the NGV and AGNSW, and published in two monographs. They are inspired by the 1974 flooding of Lake Eyre, in which a sea miraculously sprung in the desert. Before the surge and recession of water, Olsen saw the dance life and death, fullness and emptiness, everything and nothing.
