Department of Drawings [Pierre Colle Paris] sold; to Allan Roos late 1930s gift; to Fogg Art Museum 1957. NOTE: See letter from Allan Roos (Feb. 19 1958) in curatorial file: "I bought it in the late '30's in Paris from the gallery then run by Pierre Colle which to the best of my knowledge no longer exists. I have some vague impression that this gallery was run not only by Pierre Colle but Loeb as well but I have not seen it on any recent trip to Paris not heard it referred to or found it listed in 'Arts et Spectacles.'"
