Cultural Values and Their Impact on the Development of Sustainable Tourism in Deçan

Introduction: The role of natural values in the Deccan is essential for the security and sustainable development of local areas. These values offer opportunities for protecting biodiversity, promoting sustainable tourism and preserving cultural heritage. National parks act as important spaces for educating and raising community awareness about the importance of the environment. By including these values in the planning and management of parks, sustainable opportunities for the economic and social development of local areas are guaranteed. Thus, caring for these values is key to achieving long-term sustainability.
Objective: The main objective is the management of cultural values and the development of tourism for the local community.
Theoretical Framework: It is based on the development of cultural tourism and the management of the values of the area.
Method: The study uses a common methodological approach, including qualitative and quantitative analyses, as well as case studies. Part of this work is the result of the impacts of value management on biodiversity protection and general cultural protection, creating further opportunities for community involvement in management processes..
Results and Discussion: The results show that the cultural values of Deçan contribute to the growth of sustainable tourism, attracting tourists through historical attractions such as the Deçan Monastery. However, challenges related to environmental impacts and excessive commercialization require careful measures to preserve traditions. The implementation of tourism management policies can ensure economic development without endangering cultural heritage. Local community participation is important for balancing these aspects.
Research Implications: The research implications suggest that tourism can contribute to a sustainable development of the region, preserving values and improving community livelihoods.
Originality/Value: The originality of this research lies in the connection between culture and sustainable tourism in Deçan, examining the impact of cultural heritage on economic development. It offers a new perspective on tourism management, involving the local community in the preservation of cultural values.
