AN ASYMPTOTIC EXPANSION OF THE EIGENVALUE COUNTING FUNCTION FOR THE TWISTED BI-LAPLACIAN

View through CrossRef
We begin the talk with a very brief recall of the sub-Laplacian on the one-dimensional Heisenberg group and the related twisted Laplacian. The complete spectral analysis of the twisted Laplacian is given to-gether with its main misgivings, which lead to the study of the twisted bi-Laplacian. The aim of the talk is to explain a proof of an asymptotic expan-sion of the eigenvalue counting function for the twisted biLaplacian with connections to the Dirichlet divisor problem and Professor G.H. Hardy’s contribution to the problem.
