Study on the Preparation of Aligned Silver Nanoparticle Transparent Conductive Films by Wind-Assisted Method and Its Structural and Electrical Properties

View through CrossRef
Silver nanowire transparent conductive films (AgNWs-TCF) exhibit excessively high junction resistance due to the presence of a large number of wire-to-wire junctions in their conductive networks. The ordered arrangement of silver nanowires in the AgNWs-TCF conductive network can significantly reduce the number of wire-to-wire junctions, thereby reducing the junction resistance. However, efficiently preparing directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF using spin coating still faces numerous challenges. This paper proposes a wind-assisted method to achieve the highly efficient preparation of directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF. Experimental results show that when the axial fan speed is 3200 rpm, the ion fan wind speed is 3.8 m/s, and the distance between the silver nanowire solution nozzle and the substrate is 3 mm, the prepared directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF has an orientation degree of 56.67%, a sheet resistance of 12.5 Ω/sq, and a resistance non-uniformity of 0.23. At the same time, experimental results also show that the directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF exhibits resistance anisotropy characteristics; when the azimuth angle difference between the high resistance and low resistance of the AgNWs-TCF is 90º, it shows a good degree of orientation. Furthermore, experimental results indicate that as the orientation degree of the directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF increases, its surface roughness decreases. Such AgNWs-TCF with low surface roughness and resistance anisotropy holds significant potential application value for the front electrodes of solar cells and various sensitive components.

Description:
Experimental results show that when the axial fan speed is 3200 rpm, the ion fan wind speed is 3.
8 m/s, and the distance between the silver nanowire solution nozzle and the substrate is 3 mm, the prepared directionally aligned AgNWs-TCF has an orientation degree of 56.
67%, a sheet resistance of 12.
5 Ω/sq, and a resistance non-uniformity of 0.
23.
