Vojna in mir ali dežela svobodnih in dom pogumnih

Julija 2024 je več kot 120 podpisnikov na slovensko vlado naslovilo "Poziv proti vojnemu hujskaštvu in financiranju nove vojne". "Poziv" je vzbudil izredno zanimanje in odziv, ki mu je do konca leta 2024 sledila kopica kritičnih in analitičnih člankov, predvsem o rusko-ukrajinski vojni (ki je osrednja tema "Poziva") pa tudi o genocidu v Gazi. Članki so bili večinoma objavljeni v Sobotni prilogi Dela, nekaj jih je tudi iz drugih medijev. Ker gre za izjemno in redko mobilizacijo kritične družboslovne misli in aktivizma – še posebej glede na stanje sveta dobrega pol leta po "Pozivu", se nam je zdelo škoda, da bi vsa ta besedila le nabirala prah v časopisnih arhivih. Zato smo jih združili v enotni monografski publikaciji, ki prav zato, ker besedila niso časovno in prostorska fragmentirana, ampak prehajajo eno v drugega, predstavljajo zanimiv zgodovinski dokument o vzponu avtoritarnosti, militarizacije, celo fašizacije sodobnega sveta.
