FLEET AND SHIPBUILDING DURING PETER THE GREAT REIGN

В статье рассматриваются вопросы становления и развития военного флота России при Петре Первом. Дана оценка развития флота и кораблестроения до Петровских реформ, рассмотрены последовавшие реформы Петра по обучению кораблестроению, формированию личного состава флота и развитию «морских наук». Отдельно рассказано о развитии законодательной базы, и о внедрении Петром системы управления и финансирования флота.
We consider the formation and development of the Russian navy under Peter the Great. The assessment of the development of the fleet and shipbuilding before Peter's reforms is made. The reforms in question concerning the education in shipbuilding sphere, training the fleet manpower and the development of marine sciences are considered. We also pay attention to the legislation development as well as the introduction of the fleet management and financing made by Peter the Great.
