Ścinanie kani. Od obrzędu do performance’u

Artykuł opisuje przekształcenia treściowe i formalne kaszubskiego obrzędu (widowiska) ścinania kani. Jest to ceremoniał pierwszy raz opisany przez Floriana Ceynowę w czasach romantyzmu (1843 rok). Następne charakterystyki tego obrzędu wskazują na swoisty proces sekularyzacji (Jan Patock). Po II wojnie światowej ścinanie kani wyglądało już niczym wydarzenie ludyczne i rozrywkowe (Jan Piepka), choć zdarzały się jeszcze próby jego resymbolizacji (Jan Rompski). Najnowsze realizacje tego widowiska obserwowane w XXI wieku pokazują z jednej strony komercjalizację kaszubskiej kultury ludowej, z drugiej zaś ujęcia prowadzące ku poetyce performance’u (Teatr Zymk) lub storytelling (Irena Brzeska).
