The gas supply chain plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient production, transportation, storage, and distribution of natural gas to industrial, commercial, and residential consumers. However, increasing market volatility, fluctuating demand patterns, operational complexities, infrastructure constraints, and environmental concerns present significant challenges to effective supply chain management. In recent years, the integration of Big Data Analytics (BDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative approach for enhancing decision-making, operational efficiency, and strategic planning across the gas supply chain. These technologies enable organizations to collect, process, and analyze vast volumes of structured and unstructured data generated from sensors, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, enterprise platforms, and market sources.
