[Comment to “Geodynamics Project: Development of a U.S. Program” by the U.S. Geodynamics Committee] The Geodynamics Project: An alternate approach

The May issue of EOS discusses the Geodynamics Project, including a discussion of approximately 16 question areas left unanswered by present concepts (page 404). Space does not permit summarizing these unanswered question areas here.I should like to point out that harbingers of answers to these and other questions left unanswered by the plate‐tectonics concept appeared in previous issues of your fine journal when you printed 14 abstracts of my papers regarding the geophysical implications of applying a dual primeval planet hypothesis to the earth, which papers were presented at AGU meetings during the past 8 years (EOS, Transactions, 44, 877, 887, 892, 1963; 45, 39, 74, 124, 1964; 47, 56, 123, 464, 477, 486, 490, 1966; 48, 59, 1967; 50, 672, 1969).
