DASHVIDHA PARIKSHYA BHAVA- ESSENTIALS FOR A SUCCESSFUL WORK PLAN MENTIONED IN CARAKA SAMHITA

The Charaka Samhita is an ancient medical treatise that deals with the knowledge of life. In this text, the knowledge of maintaining health and treating diseases is elaborated extensively. Apart from this, it describes many philosophical principles, a code of ethics, teaching methodologies, research methodologies, strategies and techniques of debate in seminars and symposia, communication, management, and various social skills. Among management skills, Dashavidha Parikshya Bhava are mentioned. Objective- The objective of this article is to explore the concept of Dashavidha Parikshya Bhava in Charaka Samhita and its implications in various fields. Data source: The data was collected from Charaka Samhita and Ayurvedadipika commentary, followed by ra-tional analysis. Result-After thorough study of the relevant matter, it was observed that Dashavidha Parikshya Bhava are the ten essential factors that are mandatory to examine before going for any type of work. Examina-tion and assessment provide a comprehensive evaluation of anything. Every physician, researcher, or any human being should thoroughly investigate essential factors before initiating any work, whether it is treatment, research, or something else. Conclusion-It was concluded that properly planned work leads to good results, whether short-term or long-term. For carrying out a job, ten things should be examined beforehand, which involve the chief executor or operator, his tools, the intimate cause, the action, the aim or expected outcome, the after-effect of the action, the location/ place, the time, the commencement or effort taken for the accomplishment of objectives and the procedure.
