Dora Belegrinou's series of drawings "Sad Nobodies-Small Everyday Suicides", which consists of medium-scale detailed graphite drawings on paper, depicts images of everyday life, family moments of relaxation in the safety of home that nothing seems to disturb, not even death, which is always present, camouflaged. Belegrinou develops images in which suicide is fully assimilated, as if it never happened. The pictorial, non-linear narratives create games of associations, seen ironically, magnifying the feeling of resignation, of apathy through the routine of everyday life: a slow death.
