Unpublished sound recordings of songs collected in 1936 by Thérèse Rivière (head of the department “EnregistEnregistEnregistEnregistet Levant” in the Museum of Natural History) during the Algeria-Aurès mission. This mission which lasted two years (from January 1935 to 1936) and brings together Thérèse Rivière (mission leader) and Germaine Tillion (French ethnologist) was the first ethnographic mission in the region of Aurès in Algeria to the Berber Chaouïa populations.
