Abstract
Timon of Phleious (ca. 325/20–235/30
bce
), philosopher and poet, is our primary source for the philosophy of Pyrrho, whose views he presented both by positive explication and by mocking criticism of other philosophers. While his presentation of Pyrrho's views may not reflect Pyrrho's own style, most agree that he is first and foremost an explicator of Pyrrho, even if the extent of his own philosophical contribution remains a matter of debate.
