Untitled. 1921. Watercolour and ink on paper. 24.9 x 33.3. Dated l. r.: 921. Multicoloured geometric composition structured around a light pinkish-brown polygon in the center (with a darker hue around the perimeter on at least four of its sides), the two sides of which form an obtuse angle. Within the polygon, a number of smaller geometric patterns of varying scale and hue can be distinguished, such as the small yellow oblong or cylindrical surface in the center, the dense series of superimposed black lines of increasing or decreasing length, various intersecting circular and curvilinear patterns (pink, blue, purple, red), the (twice-occurring) pattern of four, decreasing or increasing scale circles of different shade, which are inscribed in two parallel straight lines tangentially anti-diametrically to the great circle, and the frequently occurring pattern of "capillary" or slightly curved lines with increasing or decreasing respectively in one end of them, thickness. The latter also appears outside the center polygonal surface, in the upper right background, as well as between the polygon and its background, left and below. Suprematism.
