The Sun of Heraclitus (The Rays of Heraclitus’ Sun in Hegel’s Philosophy of Law)

Owing to its partly artistic and biographical style, we have called this work an essay. It explores the philosophy of the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher, Heraclitus of Ephesus, in the context of the philosophy of law. We intend to examine the influence of Heraclitus (the so-called “rays of the sun”) upon individual classics of world thought. Accordingly, the main title of the essay is _ “The Sun of Heraclitus”, which is specified by the subtitle (in this case “The Rays of Heraclitus’ Sun in Hegel’s Philosophy of Law”). The present work discusses the impact of Heraclitus’ doctrine on Hegel's philosophy and philosophy of law.
