A ESCREVIVÊNCIA DE CHIMAMANDA NGOZI ADICHIE EM AMERICANAH: diálogos com Conceição Evaristo

RESUMO: Este artigo discute a articulação entre o fazer literário e a condiçãobiográfica do sujeito autoral proposta por Conceição Evaristo no seu conceito daEscrevivência. Buscamos evidenciar a escre(vivência) da Chimamanda NgoziAdichie, mulher negra nigeriana que inscreve no corpus literário contemporâneo umaforma contundente de auto-representação individual e coletiva, presente no registroficcional de questões raciais e de gênero apresentados no romance “Americanah”(2013). Analisamos essa possibilidade de reflexão sobre o papel da mulher negraenquanto escritora, verificando as operações estéticas a partir das quais elasarticulam as intervenções da vida sobre a palavra escrita e vice-versa.Palavras-chave: Chimamanda Adichie. ABSTRACT: This paper aims to moot the articulation between the literary work andthe biographical condition of the author as proposed by Conceição Evaristo in herconcept of Escrevivência (the way a text that is constructed in between the literaryand the existential realms). We seek to evidence the Escrevivência of ChimamandaNgozi Adichie, a Nigerian black woman who inscribes in the contemporary literarycorpus a strong form of individual and collective self-representation, within thefictional record of racial and gender issues presented in the novel “Americanah”(2013). We analyze this possibility of reflection on the role of the black woman as awriter, verifying the aesthetic operations from which they articulate the interventionsof life onto the written word and vice versa.Keywords: Chimamanda Adichie.
