COVERAGE OF ALISHER NAVAI'S ACTIVITIES IN THE REVIEWS OF POLATJAN TAYUMI

This article examines the "Sample Notebook of Uzbek Literature" and "Tazkira-i Kayyumi," which represent the culmination of Polatjon Kayyumi's long-term scientific research. These works are invaluable sources for understanding the history of the Kokand Khanate and the literary environment of Kokand. Additionally, they provide comprehensive insights into nearly all periods of Uzbek classical literature, including both professional and amateur poets active during those times. Alisher Navoi, as a central figure, is accorded special respect in the Tazkira.
