This is a print from a lithograph entitled '"Kate" Norfolk Polled Heifer', from life and stone by A.M. Gauci, of Camden, in 1868. It was printed by J. King & Co. Ltd., of Queen Street, London. The heifer was bred and exhibited by William Mays Bond, of Bacton, Suffolk. It won 1st prize at the Smithfield Cattle Show, 1867. It is one of a collection of paintings and prints thought to date from the last quarter of the 18th century to c.1860.
