En gammal lind på en gård i Sundby, Veckholms socken, Uppland

The farm in the village of Sundby in the parish of Veckholm was run as a farm until some time in the 1960s. The land has since been leased to a neighbor in the village. The last resident on the farm died in January 2006. Among other things, she was very interested in going to auctions in the village. She also took part in building games and was active in the Swedish Church. Two siblings from Stockholm have been allowed to inherit the estate. They belong to a family that for five generations has rented a smaller building on the farm, the red cottage. There the families have spent much of the summers. The yard, especially the manor building, was photodocumented in April 2007. In addition to the documentation, a number of older photographs have been borrowed.
