An Alternative Elliptical Trigonometry and Navya-Trigonometry

An alternative form of elliptical trigonometry, which measures the periodicity of the ellipse rather than the unit circle, is presented and reconciled to the elliptical trigonometry typically presented by Bayeh et al. The approach is then generalized to measuring the implied periodicity of any figure, with the generalization termed navyatrigonometry. The generalization is illustrated using polar curves and elliptical trigonometry is shown to be a form of navya-trigonometry applied to polar equations.
