A Study of Finsler Spaces with Rander's Metric

View through CrossRef
A Finsler space is a generalization of a Riemannian space where the length function is defined in terms of Minkowski norm and Minkowski's geometry holds point wisely. J. Taylor first gave this geometry its name: Finsler geometry in 1927. Finsler's name was also used in 1933 by ElieCartan in his paper to distinguish it from Riemannian space. Randers metric was developed to study non Riemannian Finsler metrics in the simplest way. In this paper we shall study about Randers metric and their applications in real life.
