Head wreath with a shunted bear head (without decor) and attached pieces of cloth, including a felt fabric and striped tuft. The collection is entitled “Björnfest.” in the list of objects in the archive: “Sakrala, braided head-wreaths for men....” There are head-wreaths on the one hand at p 67 (they are called there he-ko-kari-p), on the other hand at Kayano 1978 (unfortunately, they are opaginated) and two sides in Ryosho-ji... 1993, pp. 11-13 (especially 72002 and 72003). From there comes the term “sapaunpe.” Also Ethnologica band 12 1987 has examples of p 105, fig 184, and calls them “sapampe.” (PH)
