I conti di Quirra nel ‘500 sardo: Cagliari, il San Francesco di Stampace e una nuova proposta per Matteo Pérez da Lecce

Resumen El artículo trata de reconstruir algunas circunstancias relacionadas con los condes de Quirra (Cerdeña) a lo largo del siglo XVI, empezando por Guglielmo Ramón de Carroz (Centelles), autor de un legado para el encargo de un retablo en la iglesia de S. Francisco de Stampace de Cagliari. Identificada la obra con la Pala de San Cristóbal, que ahora forma parte de las colecciones de la Pinacoteca Nazionale de la misma ciudad, a través de la reconstrucción del contexto sociocultural y el análisis de las tablas, el autor del estudio propone la atribución del políptico al pintor Matteo Pérez de Lecce. Abstract The article tries to reconstruct some circumstances related to the counts of Quirra (Sardinia) during the 16th century, starting with Guglielmo Ramón de Carroz (Centelles), author of a bequest for the commission of an altarpiece in the church of St. Francis de Stampace in Cagliari. Identifying the work with the Altarpiece of St. Christopher, which is currently part of the collections of the National Art Gallery of the same city, through the reconstruction of the socio-cultural context and the analysis of the panels, the author of the study proposes the attribution of the polyptych to the painter Matteo Pérez da Lecce.
