The Influence of Ancient Written Monuments on Abdulla Oripov’s Poetry

The poetry of Abdulla Oripov, imbued with profound love for the Motherland and inspired by an enduring devotion to his native land, represents an invaluable source not only for Uzbek literature but also for the literature of the entire Turkic world. This article is devoted to the poetry of the great master of words, a distinguished contributor to Uzbek literature and culture, the People's Poet of Uzbekistan, a prominent public figure, the author of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Hero of Uzbekistan, and a poet of exceptional talent, Abdulla Oripov. The article examines the poet’s philosophical views as reflected in such poems as *“Uzbekiston – Vatanim Manim”* (“Uzbekistan is My Motherland”), *“Momo Oftob”* (“Mother Sun”), and works inspired by ancient written monuments that left a significant mark on the nation’s history, including *“Zardusht”* (“Zoroaster”), *“Budda”* (“Buddha”), and *“Eski Muxlislar”* (“Old Admirers”). Particular attention is given to the expression of the poet’s boundless love for his homeland and his interpretation of the historical and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people.
