Extraskeletal osteosarcoma: a case report
View through CrossRef
Abstract
Extraskeletal osteosarcoma is a rare soft tissue sarcoma. Survival is related with the wide resection of the tumor. The role of adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation therapy remains controversial. In our study, we present a patient with extraskeletal osteosarcoma of the thigh which was initially misdiagnosed as lipoma.
Özet
Yumuşak doku osteosarkomu nadir görülen bir yumuşak doku tümörü olup, sağkalım tümörün geniş rezeksiyonunu gerektirir. Hastalığın tedavisinde adjuvan kemoterapi ve radyasyonun rolü hala tartışmalıdır. Çalışmamızda, uyluk bölgesindeki yumuşak doku osteosarkomu başlangıçta lipom tanısı ile izlenen bir olguyu değerlendirdik.
