The Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world for everyone to experience and enjoy. The Museum lives in two iconic sites in New York City — The Met Fifth Avenue and The Met Cloisters. Millions of people also take part in The Met experience online. Since its founding in 1870, The Met has always aspired to be more than a treasury of rare and beautiful objects. Every day, art comes alive in the Museum's galleries and through its exhibitions and events, revealing new ideas and unexpected connections across time and across cultures.

The Danish National Gallery of Art (SMK)

This gives SMK a special responsibility for helping to nurture and develop museum activities as such in all of Denmark – and for cultivating and strengthening co-operation with museums in Denmark and abroad. SMK owns the nation’s largest art collection, comprising approximately 260,000 works of art.

Artsy Online Marketplace
Artsy envisions a future where everyone is moved by art every day. To get there, we’re expanding the art market to support more artists and art around the world. As the leading marketplace to discover, buy, and sell fine art, Artsy believes that the process of buying art should be as brilliant as art itself. That’s why we’re dedicated to making a joyful, welcoming experience that connects collectors with the artists and artworks they love.

Additionally Art Boulevard collects Art and Culture related information from the following general purpose repositories:

CrossRef
CrossRef is a not-for-profit membership organization that exists to make scholarly communications better. They rally the community; tag and share metadata; run an open infrastructure; play with technology; and make tools and services — all to help put research in context.

Open Library
Open Library is a universal catalog for book metadata. Its goal is to create a web page for every book ever published. It is called “Open Library” because it is a collaborative open source initiative, which means that anyone can use and contribute to the Open Library catalog. In this way, Open Library opens the doors to the places where you can find the book you’re looking for.

Besides collecting and presenting content, Art Boulevard enhances this content with accessibility features such as text to speech and voice search capabilities and allows the users to further their search through the means of Visual search techniques.

The platform is undergoing constant development so you can expect many exciting changes to happen in the future!
