Karma-Court of King Sōtei (vom Bearbeiter vergebener Titel)

King Sōtei, the third of the ten (judge) kings of the dead kingdom and the other over his own court, can be told by an assistant about the deeds of the dead, who is held by the oni König (demon). In the lower part of the picture, a deceased man who is torn by the tiger and two others fleeing from a white animal (fox? wolf?). In the post-death period, common Buddhist notions decide on the place and form of retreat according to the laws of karma.
