PR-186-083600-R01 Unpiggable Pipelines Literature Review and Definition (Phase 1)

The work described in this document addresses the first phase of a two-phase project to develop a Base Resource Document (BRD) exploring existing methodologies to monitor and assess the status of unpiggable pipelines, with emphasis on internal corrosion. In Phase 1 of the project, a search of published standards and general literature is performed to find existing information on what is considered unpiggable. Based on this search, a definition was developed on what the term unpiggable means for both onshore and offshore applications.
